It's About Time

Hooray! We finally are up and running with the internet! If you left one of the 52 messages on my vonage phone in the last 2 months, I promise to call you sometime this week.  We're still loving the house. I'd have a hard time going back to living in an apartment at this point. This is unfortunate, since this...
may possibly be in our future.

We've had some interesting things happen since our move.
One night at around 4a.m., we were awoken by a couple hundred of these...
coming down the mountain behind our house wearing these...

Matt thought it was the second coming.

Shortly after the cow incident, during a peaceful Sunday afternoon nap, I was jolted awake by one of these...

I thought Switzerland was a perfect place with no poisonous insects or reptiles, no crime, and NO natural disasters!

Last week, again in the middle of the night, I woke up to a strange noise.  I woke up Matt and he told me it was probably a bird on the roof.  Turns out it was actually one of these...
in our attic. (It's a marmot by the way) It creeped me out a bit, but it wasn't near as bad as when we were living in Arizona and I discovered one of these...

in my bed.

All of our neighbors are fantastic! With the exception of one. She came out and YELLED at us for setting off some of these...

on New Year's Day.
She said we were making this "normally peaceful village" sound like "war!!"
Dang Americans!!!

I'm looking forward to getting back in touch with you all soon.

Welcome back! So how far in your future might Hong Kong be? I hope all is well with you and your family.

Cute post, love the pics. I didn't hear the cow story - that's classic Swiss right there. Glad to see you're up and running again. Let's get together this week or next.

Cow! With real cow bells on?! Amazing! Is that Hong Kong? They sure have a lot of light bulbs there. You may want to buy some really good sun glasses.
